Trademark Policy

Effective Date: 8 May 2026 · Version 1.0

This policy sets out Vyete Technologies Ltd's approach to trademark protection, permitted use of Vyete trademarks, and the process for reporting trademark violations on the platform.

1. Vyete's Trademarks

The following trademarks are owned by Vyete Technologies Ltd ("Vyete") and are protected under applicable trademark law:

| Mark | Type | Coverage | |---|---|---| | VYETE | Word mark | Classes 35, 38, 39, 42 | | VYETE (stylised logo) | Figurative mark | Classes 35, 38, 39, 42 | | VYETE LEGAL | Word mark | Classes 35, 45 | | VYETE COURIER | Word mark | Classes 39 |

All trade names, logos, product names, and service names mentioned on the Platform that are not otherwise identified as third-party trademarks are trademarks of Vyete.

2. Permitted Use of Vyete Trademarks

2.1 Nominative Fair Use

You may refer to Vyete by name for genuinely descriptive or referential purposes — for example, to indicate that your service integrates with or is available on the Vyete platform. Such references must:

  • Use the mark in its unaltered, standard form.
  • Not suggest endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation with Vyete unless you have written authorisation.
  • Not be more prominent than necessary to identify the relevant connection.

2.2 Authorised Partners

Partners, resellers, or developers with a formal written agreement with Vyete may use designated brand assets in accordance with the Vyete Brand Usage Guidelines provided under that agreement.

2.3 Media and Press

Journalists, analysts, and researchers may use Vyete trademarks in editorial content for factual reporting or commentary purposes. Press-kit assets are available at [email protected].

3. Prohibited Uses

Without express written permission from Vyete, you must not:

  • Use the Vyete name or logo as part of your business or product name.
  • Register domain names, social media handles, or app names that incorporate Vyete trademarks or are confusingly similar.
  • Use Vyete trademarks in a way that implies endorsement of your products or services.
  • Alter, distort, or modify Vyete trademarks in any way.
  • Use Vyete trademarks in advertising keywords to divert consumer traffic through confusion.
  • Create merchandise bearing Vyete marks.

4. Third-Party Trademark Rights on the Platform

4.1 Responsibility for Content

Shop Operators and Brand Partners are responsible for ensuring that all content they publish on the Platform does not infringe the trademark rights of any third party.

4.2 Vyete's Role

Vyete is an intermediary and does not pre-screen all listings for trademark compliance. However, Vyete will act promptly on receipt of a valid trademark infringement report.

4.3 Reporting Trademark Infringement

To report misuse of your trademark on the Platform, submit a report to [email protected] with:

  • Your name, company, and contact information.
  • Description of the trademark (including registration number where applicable).
  • URL(s) of the infringing content.
  • Explanation of how the content infringes your mark.
  • A declaration that the report is made in good faith.

Detailed reporting and response timelines are set out in the Brand IP Policy.

5. Domain Names and Social Media

5.1 Cybersquatting

Vyete actively monitors and pursues registration of domain names and social media handles that incorporate its trademarks or are confusingly similar. Vyete may initiate proceedings under UDRP, CCTLD dispute policies, or applicable local law.

5.2 Fan and Community Accounts

Unofficial fan accounts or community forums may use "vyete" in their handle only if:

  • It is clear from the name and profile that the account is unofficial (e.g., "VyeteUsers Community", "FansOfVyete").
  • The account does not impersonate Vyete or mislead followers.

Impersonation accounts will be reported to the relevant platform for removal.

6. Trade Dress

In addition to word and figurative marks, Vyete's distinctive visual design — including its colour palette, iconography, packaging design, and interface layout — is protected as trade dress. Reproducing elements of Vyete's trade dress in a way likely to cause consumer confusion is prohibited.

7. Licensing

Requests to license Vyete trademarks must be directed to [email protected]. Vyete does not grant trademark licences by default and evaluates each request individually. Unauthorised use of Vyete trademarks does not create any licence or right.

8. Enforcement

Vyete takes trademark protection seriously and will pursue remedies including:

  • Cease-and-desist demands.
  • Administrative proceedings (UDRP, EUIPO, national IP offices).
  • Civil litigation where warranted.

Vyete reserves the right to seek damages, account of profits, and injunctive relief for trademark infringement.
