Listing Requirements

Effective Date: 1 January 2026 · Version 1.0

This document sets out the requirements for publishing experience listings on the Vyete Tour Service. All Tour Operators must comply with these requirements before and after a listing goes live.

1. Required Listing Fields

Every published experience listing must include the following information:

| Field | Requirement | |---|---| | Title | Clear, descriptive, and free of keyword stuffing | | Category | Select from Vyete's standard taxonomy (safari, hiking, water sports, cultural, culinary, adventure, other) | | Description | Accurate account of the experience: what happens, duration, route or itinerary | | Physical demands | Level of fitness required (easy / moderate / strenuous / extreme) | | Meeting point | Precise map pin; street address or landmark; parking notes if relevant | | Group size | Minimum and maximum number of participants per booking | | Age restrictions | Minimum age; whether children must be accompanied by an adult | | Duration | Start time, end time, and total duration in hours | | Languages | All languages in which the experience is conducted | | Availability | Calendar with bookable dates and blackout periods kept current in real time | | Inclusions | What is provided (meals, park fees, equipment, transport, accommodation) | | Exclusions | What the Customer must provide or arrange independently | | Cancellation policy | Must comply with minimum standards in the Booking & Cancellation Policy | | Emergency contact | At least one phone number operational during all active tours |

2. Photography and Media

2.1 Primary Image

The primary listing image must accurately represent the actual experience. The use of stock imagery as the sole primary image is prohibited. At least one image must be an authentic photograph of the Tour Operator's own experience.

2.2 Drone and Aerial Imagery

Drone or aerial imagery requires compliance with applicable aviation authority regulations in the country of operation. Tour Operators may be asked to confirm regulatory compliance on upload.

2.3 Image Specifications

Minimum image resolution and aspect ratio requirements are published in the Partner Help Centre. Images must not contain watermarks, superimposed pricing, or promotional text.

3. Pricing Accuracy

3.1 Inclusive Pricing

Listed prices must include all mandatory fees payable by the Customer (park entry fees, equipment hire if mandatory, transport where stated as included). Optional add-ons (tips, equipment upgrades, extra activities) may be itemised separately but must not obscure the base price.

3.2 Price Changes

Price changes must be applied before accepting new bookings at the new price. Customers who have already booked at the old price retain their agreed rate.

3.3 Group Pricing

If pricing differs by group size (per-person vs. private), all tiers must be clearly displayed. Customers must see their specific per-person price at checkout.

4. Availability and Capacity

4.1 Real-Time Updates

You must keep availability up to date in real time. The Platform relies on your calendar to prevent double-booking and to surface accurate results to Customers. Failure to maintain accurate availability that leads to Customer displacement is treated as a Tour Operator cancellation and attracts corresponding penalties.

4.2 Minimum Advance Booking Window

If your experience requires advance notice for preparation (transport, permits, staffing), configure a minimum advance booking window in your listing settings. The Platform will not accept bookings that violate this window.

4.3 Group Bookings Beyond Maximum

For groups exceeding your listed maximum, direct Customers to contact you via the in-platform messaging system for a custom quote. Custom group pricing follows the standard payment flow once agreed.

4.4 Seasonal and Permit-Dependent Availability

Where your availability depends on seasonal conditions (weather windows, migratory patterns, park closures) or permit grants, you must reflect these constraints accurately in your availability calendar. Operating outside permitted windows or seasons is a regulatory compliance violation.

5. Content Standards

All listing content must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy. Prohibited listing content includes:

  • False or misleading descriptions (inflated ratings, fabricated testimonials, invented statistics).
  • Images that misrepresent the experience (different location, different season, stock wildlife imagery passed off as your own).
  • Pricing that obscures mandatory costs.
  • Superlative claims ("best safari in Kenya", "number one guide") without verifiable evidence.
  • References to regulated activities (e.g., wildlife interaction) without evidence of the required permits.

6. Listing Suspension

Vyete may suspend a listing without prior notice where:

  • Required information is missing or materially inaccurate.
  • The listing promotes a prohibited experience under the Prohibited Experiences policy.
  • A safety concern is identified.
  • An associated licence or permit has lapsed.

You will be notified of the suspension and given an opportunity to remedy the issue before the listing is permanently removed.
